Navigating the software

Follow the instructions for completing the tasks in each section of the simulation, or watch the Help Video for the appropriate section.
As you work through a virtual client simulation, one or more questions may appear when you select an item, such as a physical exam, or questions may appear at the end of the case section when you click Task Complete. Questions may have media, such as pictures or sounds, that you are asked to review before answering the question.

For questions associated with a particular client data item, such as a physical exam:

• (optional) Click the Hide button next to any answer choice to remove that answer choice from the screen. The Hide button will change to a Show button which, when clicked, reveals the answer choice again.
• Click on the desired answer choice.
• Click the Close button on the Question window when you have finished answering the question(s). This returns you to the case, where the client result will be available for you to mark as pertinent, if you so choose. You will be shown the correct answer to the question on your score report for this case section.)

For Questions that appear at the end of the case section:

• (optional) Click the Hide button next to any answer choice to remove that answer choice from the screen. The Hide button will change to a Show button which, when clicked, reveals the answer choice again.
• To answer a question, click on the desired answer choice.
• Click Next to go to the next question in the exam.
• Click Previous to return to the previous exam question.
• Click Exit Task if you want to exit the simulation and continue your work later. (CAUTION: Do not simply close your browser window to quit the simulation. Data loss could result if you do not click Exit Task.)
• Click Task Complete if you want to exit the simulation and submit it for scoring immediately. (CAUTION: Do not simply close your browser window to quit the simulation. Data loss could result if you do not click Exit Task.)
